The GPX 7/8 is at home on the saltwater flats chasing bones or on big rivers pursuing steelhead. The disc drag will slow any silver bullet (salt or fresh) and has plenty of room for needed backing. The exposed drag knob is easily accessible for proper drag adjustment.
